Key Stage 3

During Key Stage 3 all students follow the range of core and foundation subjects in the National Curriculum for England:; English, Mathematics, Science, Geography, History, Art, Music, Design Technology, Information and Communication Technology and Physical Education. In addition, two languages are offered: French as a second language and Arabic for native Arabic speakers only. This extensive curriculum is taught by highly qualified specialist teachers. The curriculum is designed to develop independent thinking and the ability to apply this in real-life situations. It is important that, as students progress through this key stage, they become self-aware, motivated and keen learners in preparation for IGCSE examinations. Optional SATs tests are held for Yr 7, 8 and 9 during this key stage
