At DBS we pride ourselves on the upward trend in our learners’ academic achievements. We are delighted that students are able to go to universities of renown around the world as a result of having studied here.
The Secondary School has seen some encouraging improvements to both IGCSE and IB results since the qualifications were introduced at the school. These are detailed in the graphs below:
The average points score for 2013 was slightly below International Average (30.0) and compared very favourably to International Average in 2014 (30.1). We are continuing to develop and add strength to our proposition and are confident that further improvements will be made.
For the overall 5 A*-C results in 2014 these compare very favourably with the UK national average (75.2%). The results showing 5 A*-C (including English and Maths) are well above UK national average in both 2013 (UK National 58.6%) and 2014 (UK National 56%).
