Can I apply online?

What documents do I need to submit when applying?

All documents needed are listed on the first page of the application.

Is the application fee refundable in case my child doesn’t get called for assessment?

No, the application fee is simply a confirmation that your application has been received and reviewed.

What if my child doesn’t speak fluent English?

It is a requirement that all students are competent in English. We teach through the medium of English.

How can my child prepare for the entrance assessment?

Our entrance assessment is not a form of testing for which a pupil can be prepared. It is a snapshot assessment of cognitive and reasoning ability.

Do you accommodate children with special needs?

It depends on the level of support required. We accept children who are able to access the curriculum.

Can I enrol my child during the school year?

Yes, depending on availability of spaces and whether you submitted an application during the admissions period.

What is the class size at DBS?

We accommodate up to 26 children in each classroom.

What if my child is here in Qatar but he/she doesn’t have a valid residence permit yet?

Upon acceptance to DBS, please submit a letter from your employer stating that a residence permit is being processed with an expected date of issuance.

When should I inform the school if I intend to withdraw my children?

The school has a one term policy. Parents need to inform the school of leaving one term ahead of time.

What modern foreign languages does the school offer?

We offer Arabic, French and Spanish.
