Trips (overnights stays) and local visits are an integral part of DBS’ academic programme. Learners in all years may make day visits throughout the school year to local sites that enhance their learning outcomes. Many overnight trips relate directly to the curriculum, such as field trips in Geography.
Some trips meet course requirements; examples include some of the CAS activities undertaken by IB Diploma learners.
Other trips are linked to optional programmes like the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award.
