What's Happening at DBS

Cat Weatherill, a popular children’s author visited the school to talk about her books and stories and her journey to becoming a well-known author. The children were enthralled as she narrated her own life story and read passages from some of her books. The Early Years and KS1 children thoroughly enjoyed an interactive performance of some of her own and other well-known stories. Cat also signed copies of her own books which we are sure the children will always treasure. Cat was so impressed by the school and DBS Al Wakra children – she even commented that in 20 years of doing school visits, our children at DBS Al Wakra asked her the best, thought provoking questions she has ever been asked!
