No Nuts At School

DBS endeavors to have a 'No Nuts Policy'

Nuts are a common food allergen identified among the pupil population, with some pupils experiencing anaphylactic reactions. Because pupils may not be mature enough to manage their condition by avoiding food containing nuts, DBS is a ‘nut-free school,’ meaning that nuts or food containing traces of nuts are not to be brought on-site.

* Packs of nuts

* Fruit and cereal bars that contain nuts.
* Chocolate bars or sweets that contain nuts.
* Cakes made with nuts.

The school has a policy not to use any nuts in any of its food prepared on site.
